Fred Fisher has completed four training courses that are consistent witht the types of field sobriety tests that have been promulgated by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. Fred Fisher is trained and familiar with the most common breathalyzer machine, known as the Intoxilyzer® 5000, the system used by New York law enforcement officials. He is very familiar with its strengths and weaknesses and the procedures that must be followed in order for its readings to be considered valid.
How strict are New York DUI laws?
New York DUI laws are among the strictest in the country. In most other states, drivers will not face jail time or fines if their BAC levels are between .05 and .07. If your BAC level is .08 or higher, you may be charged with a misdemeanor. If this is your second offense, you may be charged with felony DWI. Will I lose my driver's license?
